Lammas Workshop: Nature Walk, Poetry & Journalling |‍ ‍Ashton Court Estate, Bristol | Sat 1 August 2026, 1-4pm

We’re gathering to celebrate Lammas, the midpoint between the summer solstice and autumn equinox, associated with harvest, gratitude, and release. On this gentle walk you'll gather natural materials and inspiration, notice details of the landscape, and be supported to write poetry by our guest host Beth Calverley.

You’ll create your own nature journal using the hand-crafted notebook supplied, and the session will end with enough time to shape your reflections. Together we’ll honour Lammas’ themes of gratitude, abundance and letting go.

Lammas Workshop: Watercolour Art, Journalling & Floral Rituals |‍ ‍Kiln Workshop, Bristol | Wed 5 August 2026, 7-9.30pm

This workshop is an invitation to slow down and celebrate Lammas, the seasonal festival of harvest and gratitude. The activities will offer a creative pause to notice your progress and make space for what’s next.

You’ll begin by making expressive, nature-inspired watercolour art to release tension, followed by guided journalling to recognise your growth, reflect on intentions, and celebrate the work you’ve put into your life recently. We’ll finish by creating small floral bundles as a grounding ritual, honouring nature’s abundance, and reminding us of the cyclical rhythm of the seasons.

Hello, we’re Yvette and Sami, founders of Creative Rituals! We run holistic events that give you a space to deepen your relationship with yourself, live more purposefully and meet like-minded people.

Our workshops, retreats and events are all centred around the Wheel of the Year, moon cycles and other ancient traditions, guiding you to cultivate your own rituals inspired by nature and the changing seasons.

As well as focusing on personal growth and reflection, community is hugely important to us. We want to gather people in a safe, nurturing space that encourages creativity and expression. And through these shared experiences, you’ll also build connections and spark new friendships!

Hosted by local creatives in independent venues across Bristol and North Somerset, each session gives you time and space to set your own intentions, making sure you get what need from it. You’ll then be supported to tap into your own creativity and intuition by our chosen artist, maker or speaker, all experts in their field.

Follow us on Instagram and Facebook, and sign up to our newsletter below for seasonal inspiration and our next event dates – we can’t wait to welcome you to the Creative Rituals Community!
